This organizational behaviour theory can be applied in the organization by keeping procedure of rewards and punishment (Healy, 2016). It will motivate employee and the employee who have the tendency of X theory can be able to accomplish the work if they get certain benefits or rewards to achieve the target. Organizational Commitment is able to make satisfied employee towards job. There are various factors which is necessary for the job satisfaction. Management has various styles such as autocratic, participative and many more which can be the reason of conflicts for the employees. Participation by the employee in the decision of the planning for organization may lead in to the frustration situation and ultimately conflict manifestation. The autocratic management can also be the reason of frustration of the employees because it would not be good for the employees to do work only as per instruction. At that condition they want to be participative in the decision making. In that situation, the involvement of management should be perfect so that one could not get disappointed (Cornelissen and Cornelissen, 2017). Manager need to conduct the meeting and have conversations with everyone. Motivate them to share their views and ideas, as per the decision of management and majority; ones ideas should b implemented. It will help for brainstorming. Re ward system should be decided by the management at certain level. Personal difference can be the cause of conflicts in the organization. Manager need to conduct fun activities which will be helpful for the organization to make better relationship with each other (Montano and Kasprzyk, 2015). Discussion about Marketing Mix For Caterpillar
Question: Discuss about theMarketing Mix for Caterpillar. Answer: Introduction The study consists of the marketing mix for earth digging machinery of Caterpillar. Caterpillar, Inc is an American company that engineers, designs, manufactures, develops, markets and sells engines, machinery, insurance and financial products to customers. The company has its distribution network worldwide. Caterpillar is known as the leading manufacturer of different types of machinery and construction, diesel engines, mining equipment, diesel-electric locomotives, natural gas turbines and much more. The company serves many ranges of products and services to the customers. Effectiveness of the Current Marketing Mix In the recent years, Caterpillar, Inc relies mainly on the growth of the infrastructures in the emerging markets regarding revenue generation. Many markets are tapped by the company and have increased its presence in China, Turkey, India, etc. The marketing strategy of the company has witnessed a severe appetite for growth. However, on the decline of the construction housing market of the United States, Caterpillar has taken a decision of diversifying its market all over the world. The main competitor of Caterpillar, Inc is Deere Co. the marketing mix of the company is formulated as per the marketing goals and competitor analysis (Brady 2014). The marketing mix of the brand is capable and is strong to capture a substantial market share and customers from the target market. There is a broad range of products Caterpillar serve to its clients. The company is into selling large equipment and machinery throughout the world. All types of customers from diverse backgrounds can avail the pr oducts, as they are available in the stores of Caterpillar. The products of Caterpillar are not available at low prices. The company is committed to maintaining a high standard quality for its machinery and equipment. The prices of the products are a premium charged, and the customers are ready to pay for it due to the brand reputation (Attia and Honeycutt 2012). The promotion of the product is the logo that is present in the equipment of the company. The marketing mix of the company is effective. However, the promotional activities of the enterprise are subtle. If the company increases its promotion in the market, then it will be able to capture more customers in the market. In this case, the promotional mix is not up to the mark. The company focuses on a consumer brand relationships. However, due to the few promotional works for the products, Caterpillar is not able to maintain the same status of relationships in the newly captured markets (Gilligan and Hird 2013). Proposed Marketing Mix In this section, the new marketing mix will be developed for the product category of earth digging equipment. The new marketing mix would be more efficient for capturing more customers from the market by building a strong brand image in the market. The marketing mix for the earth digging equipment of Caterpillar is described in the following: Product: Caterpillar, Inc has a range of diversified goods and services. However, the marketing mix is for earth digging equipment of the company among its 400 types of off-road, agricultural and on-road machinery. The company has done extensive market research to determine the demands of this product range in different emerging markets like Turkey (Berman and Evans 2015). However, for this range of product, the marketing strategy is changed a bit for increased effectiveness. Price: Usually, Caterpillar, Inc is using premium pricing strategy for its products. The engines and machinery of the company are always priced high to create a perception of premium high quality products to the customers. The strategy is applied with a view to create a perception of an exceptional reputation for the product towards the company. The novelty of the customers is determined as they are willing to pay the price of the product. In this product, premium decoy pricing is used (Kotler et al. 2015). It is the method of pricing where Caterpillar would set the price of this range of product high to boost the sales of the other products of the company that is lower priced. The company produces high-tech and expertise services to the customers as they are the market leader. Place: Caterpillar, Inc has its subsidiaries across different countries of the world. The strong distribution network helps the company to distribute the products in its branches. Regarding maximum assets, the company is ranked as number one in the sector. Global presence is a positive aspect in the marketing of products (Traynor 2015). Promotion: Caterpillar, Inc is not focusing on traditional promotional tools for increasing its brand awareness. The logo that is present in the machinery of the company is used for promotion of the enterprise. However, this is not sufficient. Caterpillar, Inc has to use digital platforms for increasing the brand awareness. Using different channels of social media such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Flickr, Twitter, and Google Plus, the company will be able to engage more customers in the target market. Indeed, it would help Caterpillar, Inc to present itself as a global number one company in this sector (Dalgic and Leeuw 2015). The promotional objectives include three basic premises such as- group task, high-end work, and global leadership. It has to opt for various digital promotional tactics according to the nature of the places. Effectiveness and Differentiation of the New Marketing Mix The new marketing mix is formulated for the new product category, i.e. the earth digging equipment. There are many types of machinery present in this group. However, the promotion mix in the marketing strategy is improved so that the new approach works more efficiently accomplishing the marketing goals. Previously, the company has not emphasized much attention on the promotional part of the marketing mix (Rosenbloom 2012). The multiple promotional tactics of digital marketing strategy will help Caterpillar, Inc to increase the brand awareness of the new product in the market. It will increase the sales of the earth digging equipment along with tapping more customer engagement. Conclusion The study describes formation of a new marketing mix for earth digging equipment. The old marketing mix of the company is evaluated in a detailed manner. Some flaws are pointed out in the old marketing mix for Caterpillar, Inc. However, in the new marketing mix, the company will be able to engage and attract more customers to their products that will lead to increased sales. 4 Ways to Balance Family and Online School
4 Ways to Balance Family and Online School Balancing school and family life can be a challenge, even for online learners. While many older adults choose to continue their education through the internet, they often find their study time interrupted by spouses and children who miss them and donââ¬â¢t understand the need for ââ¬Å"alone time.â⬠Here are a few suggestions for maintaining good relationships with those you love while studying online.à Set Some Ground Rules for All Parties Chances are youââ¬â¢ll need some peace and quiet to get your work done. Setting specific times and posting a schedule on your office door (or kitchen fridge) can be a great way to form a common understanding and keep resentments from forming. Let your family know when youââ¬â¢ll be available and when they shouldnââ¬â¢t disturb you. If youââ¬â¢re in an online chat meeting, for example, you may want to hang a ââ¬Å"do not disturbâ⬠sign on the door. Let children know what instances are appropriate for interruption (a stuffed bear causing the toilet to overflow) and which are inappropriate (they have a sudden urge for ice cream). This street goes both ways, however, and youââ¬â¢ll also need to set some ground rules for yourself. Be available to your family during your off-hours and give them the attention they need. Let them know that they can trust you to be available when you say you will, and theyââ¬â¢ll be more willing to wait. Dont Forget Play Time Online courses can get intense at times, particularly if youââ¬â¢re enrolled in more than one. But, donââ¬â¢t get so caught up that you forget to have fun. If need be, set aside a ââ¬Å"family nightâ⬠to play games or find entertainment with your children or a ââ¬Å"date nightâ⬠to spend a little quality time with your spouse. Youââ¬â¢ll get much-needed relaxation and theyââ¬â¢ll appreciate seeing you in a less stressful mood. Be An Example If you have school-aged children, use your own studies to set an example for how they can succeed in their own classes. Try setting aside a study time each afternoon when you study alongside your kids. Serve a nutritious snack (think smoothie and apples rather than green beans) and play relaxing music. Chances are theyââ¬â¢ll mimic the study skills you model and their grades will benefit. Meanwhile, youââ¬â¢ll get a chance to complete your own studies while spending some time with your kids. Itââ¬â¢s a win-win. Involve Your Family in Your Learning Donââ¬â¢t just slink away into the back room and come out, red-eyed and silent, after a few hours of intense studying. Let your family know youââ¬â¢re accomplishing something meaningful. If you discover something interesting, bring it up at the dinner table or discuss it while driving your kids to school. Let your spouse tag along on field trips to the art museum or city counsel. Chances are theyââ¬â¢ll enjoy being involved in this part of your life and youââ¬â¢ll appreciate the chance to share it.

Consequences of a Fall in the Global Price of Oil Coursework
Consequences of a Fall in the Global Price of Oil - Coursework Example Most economists believe that since oil is associated with so many products any change in its price have a trickle-down effect or a chain reaction affecting the prices of many commodities and/or affecting the rate of inflation in the economy or the general price level. If we suppose that there has been a fall in the global price of oil there will be a fall in the quantity supplied of oil because the producers will now be left with a lower profit margin and some of them may also go out of business if they would find it difficult to cover their average variable costs. There will be an increase in the quantity demanded of oil and buyers who were not able to afford oil at previous prices and opted for substitutes may now turn towards oil, current buyers may also buy more. If we take the example of British Petroleum, BP will reduce its quantity of oil supplied to the market because they will now experience a lower return on oil, its current customers may want to buy more since the product is now available at lower prices and some customers may now be interested in purchasing oil rather than purchasing its substitutes such as coal, gas etc. The fall in oil prices may cause some producers who were already finding it difficult to cover their costs to go out of business or shift to the production of other commodities, this means that BP will now have a lower number of competitors in the market and will face a lower competition than in the past. Si nce the affect on the quantity supplied is due to price there will not be a shift in the supply curve of BP, it will operate on its previous supply curve but at a lower point because of the contraction in supply. Similar is the case for quantity demanded, BP will not experience a change in its demand curve because of a change in price, it will operate on the same demand curve but at a higher point due to the extension in demand.
